- I was born in Woodland California 1941 as James W Haworth Jr, but you can call me Jim. I lived in California, Nevada, Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio and Indiana. Graduated from Olney Friends School Barnesville Ohio in 1959 and from Earlham College, Richmond Indiana in 1963 Working in health care since 1964, as General Ultrasound till 1990, Cardiac Ultrasound from 1969 till present and Vascular Ultrasound from 1975 till present. My alter ego, Simon Stargazer III was born in 1984 when I bought my first Macintosh computer and discovered writing.
